Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?
We ship worldwide. Orders ship within two business days, with delivery typically taking 7–12 business days total.
What is your return policy?
You have 60 days from delivery to try on your backpack at home, with the tags attached. If it isn’t right for you, return it for a refund.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?
We stand behind our products with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong because of how your bag was made, we’ll repair or replace it.
Normal wear and tear isn't covered.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact support@vrsatravel.com as soon as possible with your order number and we will assist you from there.
How can I track my order?
You’ll receive tracking information by email when your order ships.

What’s the difference between Matte-X and TPU?
Both fabrics are water- and abrasion-resistant, with the main difference being their appearance.
Matte-X can pick up lint and pet hair, which can be easily removed with a lint roller.
- Matte-X: 500D nylon with Dyneema and TPU lamination. It has a matte finish with a subtly raised X-pattern.
- TPU: 600D polyester with TPU lamination. It has a slightly glossy finish with a grid pattern.
How much does the backpack weigh?
- Matte-X: approximately 1.76 kg / 3.88 lb
- TPU: approximately 1.71 kg / 3.77 lb
Are the shoulder straps soft or firm?
The OrthoLite® shoulder padding has a firmer, supportive feel. It’s designed to maintain support under a packed travel load.
If you strongly prefer soft shoulder straps, keep this in mind before ordering.
Is the backpack waterproof?
The backpack is water-resistant, not waterproof. Water can still enter through the seams, while the laptop compartment’s zipper opening has added protection from YKK water-resistant zippers.
For heavier rain, we recommend using a rain cover, available separately.
What’s included, and which accessories are optional?
The backpack includes six removable external compression straps, which can also secure additional gear to the bag.
The TrueFit Hip Belt, shoulder-carry strap, and rain cover are separate accessories unless explicitly included in the bundle you select. The hip belt and shoulder-carry strap are two different accessories; one does not convert into the other.
Which compartments can I lock?
The main compartment and laptop compartment have lockable zippers. The side-access zippers are not lockable.
You can attach the included removable external compression straps across the side-access openings to obstruct access and help deter theft.
Does the backpack stand upright when empty?
Yes, the backpack is designed to hold its shape and stand upright even when empty.
Is there a separate sleeve for a tablet or documents?
There isn’t a separate tablet or document divider inside the laptop compartment. The front vertical zip pocket can accommodate tablets or folders, but it is not a dedicated padded tablet sleeve.

Is this backpack suitable for shorter people or smaller frames?
We generally don’t recommend this backpack for very small frames or shorter torsos. Please refer to our model images as a reference point when judging whether the backpack will suit your frame.

Can I use it as a carry-on?
The VRSA Travel Backpack is designed for carry-on use. Compare its dimensions with your airline’s allowance for your specific ticket:
- Compressed: 51 × 30.5 × 20.5 cm / approximately 20 × 12 × 8 in
- Expanded: 51 × 30.5 × 22.5 cm / approximately 20 × 12 × 8.9 in
Dimensions are listed as height × width × depth.
How much does it hold?
The backpack offers 30 litres of capacity, expanding to 32 litres—approximately enough extra room for 3–5 lightweight shirts, depending on how you pack them.
Expansion increases its depth by approximately 2 cm / 0.8 in. Its boxy design makes it easy to pack with packing cubes and make the most of the available space.
What size laptop and water bottle will fit?
The laptop compartment fits laptops up to 17 inches.
The bottle pocket fits 32 US fl oz / approximately 946 mL bottles.
Will the hip belt sit correctly if I’m tall or have a long torso?
Hip-belt placement depends on your torso length and how the backpack sits on your body—not just your overall height. A belt can fit your waist while still sitting too high to provide the support you want.
