I started Versapacking after reviewing over 100 travel backpacks and hearing the same thing over and over. "My shoulders are killing me two hours in." "I just bear with the pain and move on." You spend months planning a trip, save up for the flights, and then your backpack is the thing that slows you down.

So I went looking for a better answer. I tested different foams, talked to manufacturers, and found Ortholite, the cushioning behind Hoka, Brooks, and Nike running shoes. No travel backpack was using it in their shoulder straps. We partnered with their team and engineered it into ours. We developed 3 sized hip belts so the weight actually shifts off your shoulders. And we designed every pocket with direct input from 200+ real travellers and my experience testing over 100 bags.

Versapacking is for the traveller who wants to put their bag on in the morning and explore all day. Comfortably.
